AltioLive 5.3 new enhancements include:
- Presentation Server REST API support - you can enable the Altio services to be accessible from outside the AltioLive framework via REST API.
- Report Writer - It is a new module for creating custom reports. Currently on Beta version only (it needs to be downloaded and installed separately).
- Grid control - Grid control is primarily for layout purposes. It is essentially an explicit row/cell structure.
- UI facelift - Studio, Application Manager and Techlets have a new look.
- Designer Design state preserved - In the Designer when you switch from Design mode to Run mode and back, the original Design mode state is preserved.
- List/Group list control keyboard behavior standardized - List/Group list control's keyboard behavior has been standardized.
- Syntax highlighter - "Data builder" and "Syntax builder" use syntax highlighter for their xpath and syntax statements.
- New "Can close window" property - It will determine if a window is closable or not.
